Snow Patrol Program

The Bottineau Neighborhood Association (BNA) is excited to launch the Neighborhood Snow Patrol Pilot Program this winter! This program provides a free, community-driven solution for snow and ice management on sidewalks, enhancing public safety and accessibility in the Bottineau neighborhood.

What is the Neighborhood Snow Patrol?
The Snow Patrol is a pilot program funded by the City of Minneapolis. It provides grants to neighborhood organizations, allowing the BNA to manage direct snow shoveling services. This is a free service provided in partnership with the City of Minneapolis Public Works Department.

This pilot program is specifically designed to assist residents in the Bottineau neighborhood who need snow clearing help due to age or disability.

You may qualify if you are:

  • 65 and older

Report Problem Properties

Do you know of a property that consistently doesn’t clear their sidewalk?  Please let us know the address so we can reach out!
We will be onboarding residents into the program and mobilizing a snow clearing team to clear snow within 48 hours after each snow event. By working together, we can ensure our sidewalks are accessible throughout the winter season!
